Hey Guys     It's about time I introduced Myself   My name's Collin I'm in Williams Lake.
I've recently been bitten by the bug (Literally)I'm Working on a 69  for my daughter right now and i've picked up a 55 and a 54 for myself later. The 69 I'm building is an automatic stickshift so if there is a good reason not to use the auto trans let me know now as I can change it to a standard before I get too far. I've just finished the floor and am gonna start on the body soon.If I can figure it out again i'll post some pic's
any way I just wanted too say HI

Hello caribooOval!
If I were you, I would change to a standard trans while I have everything apart.
The standard trans is more reliable that the stickshift auto, and way easier to work with.
Stickshift auto makes it a pain to remove and install the motor.
The standard trans has no oil, or vacuum hoses, like the stickshift auto. This makes for a much cleaner installation.
