to those of you heading down to cali to partake in all the vw festivities, have fun and have a safe trip. damn, i am one jealous sob right now. i'm coming up on 30 this year and i still havent made it to the vw mecca and taken in the sites and sounds of the best week of the year to be an acvw lover.
if i could ask of you all, a few favours.
1- as soon as you arrive, throw your pint glasses in the air and have a cheers for all of us here that could not make it.
2- fill up those memory cards on the digi camera. then go buy some more and fill those up as well.
3- go to carlsbad raceway and take in the action. it sounds to me like this is one of the best \"new\" ideas for the classic week. a post of the # of cars running and the #'s that their running would be cool to.
4- someone get matt a bloody armrest, please.
5- get a pic of that \"garage fresh\" resto. you know the one that is just completed, making it's debut. there are bound to be a few.
6- spread the good ole canadian cheer with our brothers & sisters from the south.
7- get home safely.
i realize that this is alot to ask. if all tasks cannot be fullfilled, please focus on 1, 6 & 7.
have a bitchin time dudes & dudettes.
one day my time will come.
