Anyone know this bus?

I bought this 65 panel about five years ago in Salmon Arm. The guy I bought it from wasn't a VW guy but he said he thinks it was from Vancouver. It has had a bug 4 lug disc spindle and swing axle conversion that I have never seen before. Any info or old pics would be great. I haven't touched it since I've had it so I'll be putting it up for sale.

For some reason I think that was an ex mike Gordon van or one of his employee's.

Thanks Geoff, but I lived in the UK until 8 years ago and have no idea who Mike Gordon is. It has deluxe trim, and even pink piping on the carpet kit to match the lovely pink paint job. I'm assuming it was originally a panel by the high up louvres, then had windows cut in and then re "pannelised", (my word of the day.)

Geoff I think that's John Macintosh's old van . Panther pink & had a roof rack @ one time . Mike Gordan was a buddy of his . I remember those wheels he had polished for the van . 2 10 inch subs in the back , sir. Mix a lot baby's got back pumpin .  Gotta be 1993 era

Hey Ray, yes theres a Victoria Volksfest participant plaque from 1992 inside. That polishing job was good, those wheels are still really shiny even now. I don't know if it had an awning at some point as there is a row of holes above the cargo doors that have been welded up.

Think it is Johns old van . Rags to Riches in New West did the interior work . I remember the pink tubbing . If I remember he had a pink & white tent off the cargo doors . Some VW guys from the island were over for the Great Canadian . One bought Dean Shwings 57 vert & the other liked the van . Sent u a pm.

Yeah I though his name was John, He drove delivery for Gordons VW back in the day. I remember SIR in 1993 or so and John, Mike and the rest of us partying at the front gate with that bus. It had a custom (hidden in bumper) exhaust by Mike.

Good to know it was a party bus. Still lots of partying left to do in it for sure.

It had a camper kit in the back, I'll check I may have an old picture of it.
