Enjoyed another EOS event, drag racing on Friday night and a beautiful day for the EOS 14 Show today at Churchill Square in downtown Edmonton. Here's a few photos; please excuse the quality, as they're from my Blackberry.
Kevin: your former turbo engine can be seen in the Castrol Raceway photo. Peter is still tuning the engine, and had just repaired a tie-rod, so he was taking it easy on the drag strip.
I managed my best ET this season: 13.091 seconds at 102 MPH...almost got into the 12's again, but the air wasn't the best last night, according to the regulars. This is the best track I've raced at so far, as they have numerous staff herding cars into the lanes, matching them at the front, pairing them off and as soon as a pair of cars leaves the tree, the next pair are called to line. We were hot lapping, so to speak, although the line-up came and went. After six races, we called it a night and headed to our hotel:
