WEBER EMERGENCY!
« on: August 02, 2010, 12:09:35 PM »
Hey guys I am posting this here because I thing its the most looked at spot on the forums. Its the first one I look at when I log in anyways. Okay to the point. I have put some dual Weber 44s on my car, and I am having trouble with cyl#3 over fueling. I have found that the idle mixture adjusting needle is screwed, looks like someone has sanded it down and even turned fully in it is overfueling, everyother cylinder is in perfect control. Thats what I get for buying used carbs off the internet. Any ways, I am driving the car to Reno for Hot August Nights tomorrow morning and I am hoping someone on here has one they are willing to sell, rent , lend, whatever, anything for my trip. I am in Aldergrove but I am willing to drive to pick it up. You can call me at home at 604-857-4104 or my cel at 604-788-4595.
Thanks for the help guys.
Jordan
P.S.- Sorry I am missing the GCVWS. Have a great show guys.

Well, thanks for looking everyone. A friend of my bosses had an old weber dcoe 36 that I took the mixture screw from. Not identical in taper but should be better than what is in their now. I am going to install it right now and see.
Thanks again
Jordan
