Wide 5 balancing & convertible frame reinforcement

I need to get my wide 5's balanced.. and new (shorter) valve stems put on the thing tires. What shops do this?

Oh.. looking for a 15" (or close) good loner spare tire on a wide 5 rim also.

Also... has anyone had experience reinforcing a convertible frame? There used to be a reinforcement kit sold for the thing.. no such animal exists anymore. thoughts?
