Anyone know definatively what wheel options are allowed by ICBC for collector status VW's?

I asked at one point when I was registering the Dormobile. The answer then was that as long as they are period correct, they were ok. I can't see them saying that you should have bias ply tires.... or no plates.

all depends which plates your are going for also.  Pre 58 you can get modified plates and anything goes.

Last time I did it, the pictures get submitted and they go to a committee to approve the application. You could try and call someone at ICBC who is involved with or on the committee to answer your questions... of submit your application and see what they say. I got rejected the first time, until I provided them with paperwork and photos from the 60's which showed the vehicle as it was. They listened, said ok and sent me an approval. (no extra application or fee)
