Back in a couple of days - new member of the family
« on: July 23, 2008, 06:49:29 PM »
Back in a couple of days. Pray "It" makes it back OK 8)

 ??? ;D

Update: Made it back OK. Ran great! Will have to go through the brakes ;) 63 beetle from Penticton. Formerly owned by an old German lady whose family pleaded with for years for her to buy a newer car but she refused. She bought the car new in Vancouver and was the only one who drove it. It has some rust, and dents on the fenders but seems like a great car. Everything on the car works :)

It was painted once, but it is an original pearl white car. I think as she got older she started to feel her way around a bit ;) Kind of funny...we stopped for gas on the way out and the attendant remembered the old lady, the car, and even the green pole she hit with the fender was at the gas station. He said he had offered to buy the car if she would ever be interested in selling it.

ah ha....og turkis gas station pole paint.  ;)

i figured it had been painted because the white looks too white to be pearl. great looking car regardless...have fun with it!!!
