whats the feeling on a car cover from keeping the car from getting dusty or dirtywhile sitting in the garage?
any thoughts

I use them on both my bugs and the bus, great for indoor use.

I'd say no!
Honestly....i've seen too many cars with paint problems related due to car covers and moisture....even with so called good covers in a dry garage. Granted it..it could have been problems before some of those cars ever seen a cover...like moisture in the airlines at the priming stage..etc.
I'm not taking the chance with my car! I've just seen way too much of it!

Pincess auto had some on for $29.99 I got one for my bus for $50 Really happy keeps it outtta peoples view and my bus is not anywhere near perfect Cover seems good .

Ive always used a car cover for my ghia and never had a problem. I do a little painting in the garage from time to time and it keeps off the overspray.

i'm with Gerry just park it in the corner where there isn't any people traffic and leave it as is. we have ours in a car port type of thing but there is condesation so we don't use the covers we have.

I bought a blue indoor cover from Crappy Tire for $19.00 and i just put soft blankets under the cover for extra cushion works well in the winter when the car dosent move.

I almost always cover my car, except for the couple of nights I was working on it, then came home from work to find my son sanding the varnish and paint off his guitar because he wanted the natural look. (Natural plywood) Dust everywhere!

My brother and I have used car covers for a long time. Our experience has been good, if you use a car cover that is breathable. If you used something that is not breathable, like a plastic tarp, you will mess the paint up for sure. The humidity needs to be able to get out.

The same thing happens with a bra. When it gets wet, it will mess up the paint. Take it off the car, and let it dry out before you put it back on the front of the car.
