I've often wondered why no one's tried a bike motor in a VW. My 25 year old motorcycle makes the same power as my Ghia, but revs to 9500 and has a sequential 5-speed. Better mileage, too.
I've seen a GSX-R 1300 Hayabusa engine used as power for a Lotus 7 replica, and the thing went like a raped ape.
If anybody has a new BMW 1100 motor for sale, let me know...

OKAY!  I'm all for speed and power and all, but  that was WAY WAY to fast for a residential street. The freaken thing was air born as he past an
on coming car! NOT COOL!  The hwy. bit , ok ....I can see that but the rest...!
