About 9 or 10 years ago, I sold my house in Montana and planned to move to BC.
I had picked up a 1960(?) Bus from a friend in leiu of a cargo trailer, the plan being to rebuild the Bus after getting settled. 
The Bus was parked and left near Chasm, BC - I intended to return for it, but by the time I was able to it had been impounded by the RCMP either in Clinton or possibly 70 Mile House. 

It's a white 1960 panel camper conversion, #660048 (I can't remember where I took that number from - the vin plate on the bulkhead, or the engine bay), probably a Sundial or EZ camper. pretty well gutted, but the body was fairly solid.

I'm posting this in hopes that I can find out what happened to the Bus. Does someone on this forum own it now, or know who does?

I have a cabin on Green Lake near 70 mile.If you make posters with a description of it. I will gladly post them up through the local trails. July 7-11
Just to caution you one of the locals is probably using it for a greenhouse. :'(

Just before clinton there was one across from the wrecking yard for years, ez camper, white, nose damage but it was bondo up.
Had a ribbed rear bumper that was beat up?

Sound right?

If so someone bought it this year, i was gonna get it but left it tooooooo long.

Thanks for the offer; but, honestly, I'm not looking to get it back. I have too many VWs now as it is (if that's even possible)

If you could post a picture, that would be nice. But, from your description, I'm pretty sure that's a different one.
Mine had no rear bumper. I remember that because I accidentally knocked it into second as I was packing. I made it a few miles down the interstate before it started dragging - trying to seize. 

The engine was smoking hot from spinning whatever RPM 60mph is in second gear, and I pulled it on the side of the freeway. Thinking back, I could have/should have just put it in neutral.

The nose was in good shape, but there was a big dent behind the cargo doors; as if someone had body checked it.
