Okay another thread for fun
Whats your daily beater?
Okay mine
1985 bmw 325
Lowered on a \"Bilstein tuned suspension\"
Custom gun metal aluminum alloys(Thanks textar brake pads)
Beat to hell checked silver paint.
Dirtified badging
130,000? 230,000, 330,000? KM on it who knows...
Thrashed drivers seat swapped to the passengers seat....
Rattled can lower rocker's
my \"E-dirty\"
The day after I rescued it..

After the company I worked for went tits-up last week with no notice and my fastback just gave up the ghost, my winter beater is a freakin' flat-black 1977 Datsun 510 - this is NOT the cool 510, it's a god-damn eyesore! ]:( As long as it gets me school...
Yeah I can't wait to pick it up on Saturday! WOOO HOOO! I'll post some pics of the hotrod later

-
Kudos to everyone who drives their AC car as DAILY transport B)
Mine is an 83 GTI. Best/most reliable car I have EVER owned. Takes a lickin\" and keeps on tickin': :mullet:
-
Depends. As I live on a remote Island not serviced by a car ferry I have to have 2 sets of vehicles, one on each side. Over here on the Rock I usually drive a beat up 84 TD Rabbit. On nice days it's a 68 T3 pan based tube frame buggy. When loads need to be moved it's a 1970 Chevrolet 9 foot stepside box 1 ton. On the \"other side\" it's an 83 Turbo Diesel Vanagon and a 67 Kombi.
-
Mines a special white Ford econoline van, or as screaming stroker calls it THE HAPPY BUS ! :P

Just spotted this. You didn't go green on the Escape did you?
My daily is owned by the state of Washington \"06\" Escape Hybrid  . After driving close to 100 miles every day I don't feel much like driving my own car. When I do go somewhere, it's a choice between \"01\" Taurus, \"98\" F150, \"93\" caravan or \"69\" beetle.
-
Nope went with the 3.0 V6 - thing hauls ass! Seems to get decent gas milage too.

Probably handles better than the Hybrid too. There is about 300 pounds of battery in the back of it. :(

Uhmm, you left your lights on
-
In nearly all my photo's I leave my lights on. Its the \"Jacobsen Effect\"
-
Ah....I see. Must often get confused for the \"look at the little rich kid whos mamma just bought him a Beemer\" effect huh?
-
Obviously you haven't seen my Visa statement lately and saw that my other bmw sold.
Nice try though. You get an A for effort and carry out....
I keep on hearing from my pocketbook I'll be broke by christmas :(
And anyways the last time I checked the above aformentioned car isn't a motorcycle.
-

How do you like your new FJ Chris? happy with it?
Love it. I would highly recomend them to anyone. Off road the thing is a beast stock. People who just drive them around town and commute with them will not like them, it's not where they shine.
-
Haven't had a chance to test this new 3 series in the snow yet. I put snowies on the other one and it did great! So we will see. I guess it all depends on how much I plow!
