Great job Danny! You should be very proud of that time...I don't think I went that fast till a few years ago.   What about Darren? How did he do?

Darren, called me when he got home, he had shifter problems all night long. Then the track got dewey and the tire broke loose in third so he shut er down for the night

Dan, are you keeping track of the total # of passes you have made?

Cast iron super diffs are a consumable item.

Yup,... I broke my crank in 4 th gear right at the 1000 ft mark looking at the video and where the marker is, and got a 13.10 at 97 mph.  I had 15 pounds boost on street tires.  I was going to use the slicks for my next run too.

My car would have been in the high 12's with a 100+ mph on that run.  I was very excited despite breaking,  knowing I would have hit my goal for this year of a 12 something or a 100 mph something.  My 60' was a 2.05.

I will post more tomorrow once I'm home.

Too bad for Darren with the shifter issues, next time  he will nail some good runs.  The 1 pass when he got squirly in 3rd I jumped off the stands hopping he would pull out of it, whew!!! he did.

Good to see every one out.
Kevin

Actually it is a 4 pce crank so it should be worth more.

Yea.... I hope this doesn't rub off on any body else.  Shane started it.
Jeez I would have been into the 12's too on street tires.

This is what happens when you use a cast crank KABOOM!!!!, except mine didn't go Kaboom, it only went pop, and made a funny noise for a second, in my mind I was thinking engine damage would be minimal because there was no loud noise.  Heads are still good, 1 has to be plunge cut maybe .015.

Hope you get some good runs in next time.

Kevin
