what does a 89.57 mph in the 1/8 mile convert to for a 1/4 mile mph.

I wonder if any calculation would be accurate in a turbo, supercharged or nitrous application.

I remember I was racing a 240z turbo (punched out motor) at mission. I was ahead of him till the 3/4 mark of the track. I spanked him in the 1/8 mile. BUT next thing you know it he caught up to me and did a 11.80 or something at 115 or 116mph while I did a 12.1 ish ET.

Add in the variable of 4th gear ratio as well...

MPH is mostly a function of Hp & weight. While the gearing certainly has an effect it's much less than you might think. The turbo cars are much faster because they generally have more horsepower. wayne

I am still racing my car though.......Had fun  on the weekend again racing 1/8 mile, look forward to being down on Friday the 22.
