Title: Shift Rod

I was wondering if a 68 beetle shift rod is suppose to be straight?  Mine has a slight bend should I replace?

iirc, there is a slight bend in a 68 shift rod.

i seem to recall jim martin pulling his out of his car and being concerned, only to compare it to another shift rod and find out that it's supposed to be that way.

someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

They all have a slight bend in them
