Any details on the weekends shows? How was the show that replaced the old SIR?

In my opinion, it sucked long and hard! The show that replaced SIR was the same cars that showed up the day before. Nice location though. You didnt miss anything.

Puyallup Goodguys event was great! When I rolled in at 10;30am friday I was already car # 1773 and I belive it was just over 2000 cars.

There were 5-6 VW's in the show, a big block powered Beetle and a few very nice cal look cars.
I had the Heb there with my Brothers Truck, Daves 49 Ford and a few other friends cars.

I saw a lot of ASF members at the show and many more VW people that came and said Hi.  If you have a chance to attend one of these events do so! It's an amazing showing of some of the best cars in the NW.

A big thanks to Steve and Dale who own the \"Amocat\" Hot Rod shop in Puyallup. They invited us and 100+ others to enjoy a BBQ and party at their new shop.
Thanks guys!
Our group Sat night at the Amocat shop.

The vintage show on Sat was the smallest I've seen in the last 20 years.
There were only 2 split Beetles, a 50 standard and a black zwitter that would have given Gavin a woody.
One of the military buffs blew off a military show to bring his '42 Kubel.
In the rat cars area a 56 RHD semaphore'd Beetle was quite interesting.
Bob Holland's freshly done street car won it's class.
A Puma GT was there.
Busses were well represented.  There were more than a couple of barndoors.  I'm sure Barry will have the mental list of what Type 2s were there.
Mike brought down his Type 3 Sqbk, and Brian brought his trailer queen.

I saw a grand total of 7 CDNs.

The swap meet area had less than half of what it used to have.  Didn't go to the Sun show in the park.  I figured that since I only heard about it on Sat, it would be pretty small.

We had a pretty good time on Friday and Saturday, we went to the Sunday show for a little while, and then left to go to a bbq at a friends house that afternoon.

We want to say thanks to Brian, Kim and Mike for stopping by Saturday night to see the new place.

Burger master was another good Friday night.

I wonder where the \"vintage\" guys are , 'cuz they're not at the show   . I always get race car parts at the swap there, what's up with that  ? Next year I'll take my vintage car to help fill the show  ;)

Sunday was a nice \"day in the park\" kinda of day for me. A nice afternoon next to the lake with a bunch of gear heads ranks real high on my meter. Would I have driven to BC for it, no, but with the rest of the weekend it was fine by me.

Thanks Frank& Marsha for the grand tour of your house and shop. I could live in that shop. It was great seeing everyone and we still had a great time. Hopefully they can combine Bremerton with the Vintage week next year. Goodguys show was awsome, the quality of cars was unbelievable.

I only went cuz I can't break tradition... I was pleasantly surprised to see so many buses there- but that's really all I want to see, so I have to say it was a great day!

I was going to stay home, but this was eleven in a row for me! Well, at least Vintage Meets anyhow. BUT- I did catch a ride with Blarneyman and my bus was totally fit for the drive... My VW enthusiasm has curbed, heck i even bought a Honda Element yesterday. It's almost over for me.
