Beside this friday's TnT that is next date availible - I will be taking the car out weather permitting to see what it does in street setup (low boost, pump gas) and learning how to drive it.
Roll call!!!! Who's in???? The ACTop20 is being dominated by Alberta and Washington cars WTF!!!! Time to get out there and lay down some numbers!

will let you know, planning to go twice a month for the balance of the season,
it would be fun to blast down the track with another vw
james forget pump gas.your complete set-up is untested and i highly recomend race fuel, you will be able to go 4-5 passes on 1 gallon.trust me take a variable out of the way and run race fuel the safety cushion is worth the $17.00
lock out the dist and play with timing ,finding that magic timing window and the correct A/F ratio combination is the key to making torque.start at 22 deg /and stay on the rich side and work from there .sorry all fired up :D i love tuning .

I say go hard on the Pump gas dood.  Then you will know how I felt

Dizzy is locked out at 23deg already and I'm already on the fat side. I am driving the car out so I don't want to go to crazy just in case.

Does Mission sell C14 or C12?

Does Mission sell C14 or C12?
every t&t that i have been to has the vp racegas trailer set up and they sell all the good juice.
like jim said, he got 4-5 passes on about a gallon and it was so worth it he bought some more for his last 3 runs of the day.

I don't plan on running enough boost to warrent c16 this time out, don't want to get all soggy with the extra octane...

i agree, c16 seems a little overkill.
afaik, jim was running c12 and it was working quite well. it's all about the potential energy available, mang. B)

More like it's all about not breaking cause it's a long walk home!

i would think running pump gas would be more dangerous than running racegas. all that knocking from the multiple flame fronts colliding is going to blow something apart. B)

I won't be cranking the boost more than 10lbs so I won't need to worry about that. I still have way more tuning to do prior to cranking the MBC and seeing what else I can get out of it.
