Title: Msd 2 Step

hey guys, just got my 6al and 2 step. question is how does the 2 step work?? there is a red and black wire (positive and neg. i assume) and of coarse the \"pill\" plug wire to the 6al unit. so i assume that the black gets grounded, the red get hooked up to a switched positive such as a line loc or momentary switch controlled by the driver. my thoughts on this unit is that when the 2 step is not powered it is running off of module 1 (the higher rpm pill), then when the unit is switched on it jumps over to the module 2 pill. am i thinkin right??
