i have a new high density foam cut to the shape of my lower rear seat ,
now all i have to do is cut a tapper into it .obviously it curves from frt to back .
any idea's on how to cut or shape foam when its that wide?

Get the wifes electric knife. Thats what I use.

A king sized band saw works best, electric knife works good, I've done it with a disc sander too, messy but good for odd shapes.
-
A hot wire works good.

Hey Jim,
The electric knife is the ticket. At work it is what we use to shape foam and such. If you have any questions or need some ideas just give me a call I can put you in contact with Andre our trimmer.

Hey Jim, Makin' that hot wire device looks like it's right up your alley. When they say \"it's not rocket science\" they're not talking about that hot wire device looks like alot of work! I like the electric knife idea. Should be lots at valu village.

Once you have your straight cuts done with the electiric knife or bandsaw, shape it with a sanding disc on your angle grinder.
