Title: Any Islanders Here?

hey all,
i have done the west coast trail a couple of times and will be doing it again this summer.
although this year i would like to leave my vehical in bamfield,so it is waiting when we come out.
my problem is i am having a hard time finding directions to bamfield,does anybody have any experiance or sure fire directions?
i did map quest and it litterally says turn right turn left turn right ect..
we would be leaving from parksville and i know alot of it is old logging roads and i really don't want to get lost

i really dont think your going to find any good directions.....
cause thats what they are really like!
the fastest way is usually through port alberni
and if you can get yourself on the right road (mytelus maps seem to work, or just ask in port alberni)
the dirt road going there is pretty self explanitory... (there are signs posted at all the forks in the road)
good luck with the bamfielders.... they are an interesting bunch....
