Title: What Would You Do

Found 66 body solid floor surface rust and no holes 600.00. 64 right qtr  need replacement no price (assumed 400.00 with body solid and  floor solid. my floor is very good body needs 4 panels front an real window frames  back and seems on top bottom qtr panels ect. My engine is good and so is the trany ect.

any sugestions?

not dvkk but if the 66 is solid then go with it, there are lots of parts around for 65 - 66 so you wont have to spends lots to get things for it but whatever, just make sure you paint it copper than you can hang with James

also not dvkk, but, are you thoroughly checking out all the other known problem areas?

front apron damage from accidents, lower front wheel well where the 1/4 meets the heater channel, heater channels, lower 1\" of front firewall, floor under pedal cluster, bottom of the a pillar where it meets the heater channel near the lower door hinge, bottom of the b pillar where it meets the heater channel, battery tray, rear crossmember, rear wheel well body mount, bumper mounts front & rear, rear apron from damage from an accident...

it's hard to say which one to take from your limited description. but it sounds like your 64 may be a little worse for wear, so i would consider either of the other 2. it sounds like you need a solid pan & body to throw your engine, trans, glass, etc in.

if you want a second opinion, i may be able to take an hour or two and go look at these other cars with you. i'm not a pro, but an extra set of eyes never hurt.
