Title: Tuning Dellortos

hey guys, fianlly got the motor up and running. i have 48 dellortos, and i'm wondering how the heck do you get in there to adjust the idle mixture screws?!?! hints/tips/tricks...i'll take 'em all. thanks guys

I drilled 2  holes on eah side of the inner fender just big enough to get the screw driver through.

i have the tuning book as well, thanks for the offer. there just isn't any room in there for any tool. bruce gave me a great tip (smog hose with a socket pressed in one end). if all fails i'll bring the drill out. any chance of me passing air care with a 2276, 48 dells, and a 86b at 9-1 compression.

if your wanting to smog a big motor like that, you may want to look into an innovate lm-1 air fuel meter.....
it will tell you EXACTLY whats going on in the motor

Darren did it with his 2276 and 48 DRLA Tri-jets.

I've done it 4 years in a row with my 2 liter and 40 DRLAs.  And my car is a 75, so the numbers are really tight.

The CB Dellorto book is good, but you won't pass aircare with the info it provides.
