This is going to be one busy month.
I have requested my holiday time to go to VW Classics this year, who else from here is going?
Can we get a discount on accomodations?
Fathers day weekend-going camping for the weekend with my 5yr old son.
Then this show, I hope my car is done soon.......I still have the Great Canadian, but I say this every year. Brian aka.red snapper, private message me or e-mail me

We will be holding a valve cover racing tournament at the show this year. No cost but you will have to supply your own car. Fairly simple setup, get a VW or Audi valve cover and rig up some wheels!
Details on Valve Cover Racing
Official rules and regulations on Valve Cover Racing can be found below:
Cars
10" Maximum Width
24" Maximum Length
10" Maximum Height
15 lb Maximum Weight
Weight will be by Official Scales ONLY
It is strongly recommended that you have a way to add/remove weight easily for official weigh-in time
NO Engines - NO Propulsion of ANY kind
One Valve Cover per Chassis - No Switching Chassis or Cover
VW/Audi Valve Covers ONLY
Wheel can be attached to the car in any manner, but must not extend beyond the front of the valve cover
Nothing can extend beyond the front of the valve cover
Cars must have no less and no more than 4 wheels
No moving or movable weight.
Cars must pass pre-race judges inspection
If car fails pre-race inspection modifications can be made by the owner and it can be resubmitted for inspection once
Track
Total track length is 24ft with 24" being the starting grid
8ft long incline (at 25% grade, or 2 foot raised height for the 8 foot section)
16ft run out length
2 lanes
11" wide lanes
4" high walls on each lane
A starting gate ensuring an equal start will be installed
Racing
Cars will be run in heats of two cars each.
The winning car from each heat will progress to the semi-finals or finals depending on the number of entrants.
The cars are to be launched with their front most part of the car against the starting gate. The first car to have the front of it break the finish line is the winner. If neither car makes it to the finish line, the car going the furthest in its lane wins.
All racing judges' decisions are final
The idea comes from the http://www.waterwagens.com/valvecover.cfm (http://www.waterwagens.com/valvecover.cfm) check out the site and the pictures to get some ideas as to how the cars can be! Hope to see a bunch of cars out for this :)

it gets a little bumpy through stanley park but the at the rate of speed we'll be travelling at (10-20mph) you'll have time to dodge the bumps in the road.
