Title: T3 Manifolds.....48 Idfs

Does anyone know for sure if the T3 shorty CB manifolds will work for 48 DRLAs??
The site says 36 40 45.......  :huh:

You do know that parts are very hard to find for dell 48's right,  if they are complete great if not have fun.  Dell 40 - 45's are a sinch, I just bought a completly rebuilt dell from Italy for $150.00+ 2.00 each jet US , vents, larger needle seat, and turbo emulsion tubes, plus jets., and you can get anything you want from there also.  I have bought from this person in the past and he didn't let me down this time either.  Great person to deal with if you need parts.

 Im sure it is the same pattern, only that cb has the hole size sized for a 45.  You would have to hog it out for the 48.

These dells are complete and I got a smokin deal on them. From, you guesses it , Airspeed. I got it complete with T1 manifolds and CB linkage. Just want to see if I can make them work with T3 manifolds.

So you are saying that all I will have to do is port match  the inside of the manifolds then?? The bolt pattern will work?? Thanks kev

Hopefully someone else will chime in, and correct me if I'm wrong.  Worse case scenerio is to try my 40 dell on your manifold you have there, before you buy  a set of T3 manifolds, just to verify.

Yep ....Awsome guy..  Each transaction has been great and smooth.  My other purchase from him was in 2001.

Awsome carbs, ultrasonicly cleaned and a new rebuild kit installed.  An excellent person to deal with.

 He has so many parts available, I wanted specifics on this carb, large inlet valve, turbo emulsion tubes, wire pull throttle, specific jetting,  28mm vents, a 1 inlet banjo, plus an extra 20 jets, ...no problem.  It arrived in 4 weeks from shipment date.

They will work just fine.
