Title: Spring Fling May 7th Version 3.0
Post by: kirin on February 25, 2006, 02:21:40 PM: Come on out for the first cruise of the Season. May 7th 2006.

Meeting place: Ambleside park North Vancouver. 10:30 AM for a departure at 11:00 AM sharp!
Bring along... FRS radios, Your AC-V-dub of course and some lunch material.

Destination Alice lake north of Squamish and quite possibly a stop at the West coast railway heritage park for some photo ops!

So come on out and were going cruising.

I will shoot the whole thing. I have 1, maybe 2, friends coming along. 1 to operate the camera and the other guy is a pretty good photographer so maybe we can get a nice little momento of the ride from this. Rergardless, I'm just looking forward to the ride. I'm new to VW's but I even like driving to work each day just cause I feel like the coolest cat on the road. :) See you on Sunday.

Ambleside park is in West Vancouver.... I know most of you already know where the park is anyway, but for a 1st timer trying to find the park...... you will find it in west van on 13th and argyle

Rain or shine, bring it on. I have a tarp in the bus and I can seat 4 comfortably, 5 uncomfortably. It'll all be good. :rockon:

what I was trying to point out is that the poster says N. Van and you keep calling it NORTH Van, when the park is in W. Van (WEST Van)

I saw Coronas some meats, hot dogs and smokies, chips and salsa as well. In addition, that funny looking cake that made its way to the table.

Kirin, sorry to hear about the accident. Thanks for putting the cruise together though, I met some great people and really enjoyed seeing all of those SUV's riding at the back of the VW train. Let's do this again sometime soon.
