Title: Pedal Cluster Refurb.
Post by: kirin on February 11, 2006, 10:15:53 PM
Just got in from swapping over the wheels and tires and pedal cluster to my car. Still have to finsih it up. But holy moly is the brake pedal ever firm now. It almost feels like it's vacuum assited. I thank that to the return spring but pretty much if you stand on it hard the car stops and stops fast. The new wheels and tires give it a great stance and lots of acceleration. I need to finish installing the traction bar before I try to many wheel stands...

Make sure you have pedal free play.

Lanny you were right. To little free play caused some interesting brake sensations on the Alex fraser bridge. All is well now but some scary moments.

More like disc brakes. Holy moly was there ever a lot of brake dust.
