Title: What Year Is This?

I found a t-2 trans but don't know what year it is . I gots ta find the gear ratios. s/n#   002-301-103a. It has the upper hangers off the bell housing and am told it came out of a 76 BUT the only info i've found is it's from a 68-73.


     Help me ANYONE???

Are there three ribs or five ribs on the case? The 68-71 had three ribs but no hanger mounts. The later three rib from 72-74 had them 75-76 If i remember correct was a 5 rib.

G-man:  Thanks dude. I found some more info. The final drive is 4.86 and the ring and pinion is 34/7. Found this on a buggy site. Do you have any thing I could double check this with?? Also, do you think this would be a big enough step-up from my 68 trans????
