Hey all.
It's still a little early but I figured I would throw this out there to see who here is planning on attending the Type3 invasion this time around.
*HERE* (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/jaransonT3/2006Invasion/index.html) is the website for all of the info needed. Let's see how many cars we can get going.
Gary? Matt? Geoff? Johnny? Hans?

There are several of us from the Puget Sound area (US end) planning on going down. I want to arrive there on Thursday.
I'll be playing hookie from a NIDRA race
-
I was planning on it. but I won't have the notch done by then I'm sure. I know of a couple local T3 guys driving down.

When I talked to another local here (Mike Grocott) last week he had mentioned heading out to be there for Thursday as well. He had also mentioned something about hookin' up with a bunch of you yanks ^_^ and headin' down in a convoy. Possibly some of the guys from The DDB may do the same.
Maybe we should get all of our plans out there and get something in writing eh? B)
And Matt, don't feel bad. You could always pilot my fastback if you're brave enough  Assuming I get the wagon done by then  It would be kinda cool to have both of my cars there.

Probably ought to keep an eye on Franklin's site for coordination on a hook up and cruz. The DDB hang out over there along with the usual suspects. I can offer a Wed. nite room here for an early get up an go.

Hey all,
since this seems to be a good topic , I will chime in now...
We too have already been planning this trip out.
We would like to leave portland on Friday moring and head down to Myrtle creek then.
The drive is about 4.5 hours from here.
We really would like to have a huge caravan of type 3's to come out of portland so if you can make it please try.
We also have already reserved a large camp spot for our group if you would like to camp out with us you are welcome to do so. The campground has shower/store/laundry facilities there and is a good price of about 18.00 per night.
Also if during your trip down here anything goes wrong , give us a call here at the shop and we will try our best to get you going agin.
And if you need repairs we can try to get the parts here for you so you can be on the road again.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
We can be reached at : Information@theddb.com
thanks-
