My little brother Jon just pulled out the motor out of his 63 ragtop and wanted to find out what engine he had in it.  He is too lazy to sign in, so I'm posting for him.

The engine code is:

71-72 1600 DP.  All the goodies of the latest design engine case, but with 10mm head studs and no inserts.  Easily upgraded.
