Title: Head Rebuilding Tools
Post by: egspot on December 16, 2005, 11:55:38 AM

Long time ago I had a metal tool to remove and replace springs and valves. Does anyone sell that anymore? Also I remember a small plunger with a wooden stick and a dark grind paste that I used to reseat the valves. Where would I find these items?

I guess I got more time than money.

Hi, lapping valves doesn't do a lot if your seats and valves are worn. I would be happy to check them out for ya.

If you like, I can do a proper 3 angle valve job for about a 100 bucks.

That sounds very reasonable if that is for the pair. I will keep it in mind. Do you have a phone where I can reach you when I am ready to do it?

Thanks
