i have a buddy that's restoring a 56 canadian standard oval.
what specs are you looking for? and what year oval?
afaik, they are much like the deluxe ovals minus the trim & seat rails. probably a few other differences, but it all depends on what you're going for. how specific do you want your car to be?

I have a 56 canadian std, jungle green, Or was..........
-
Most were light blue for some reason. Small headliner, wingnut seats, three spoke steering wheel, basic upholstery, missing interior chrome(speedo ring, painted speaker grill, painted rear view mirror etc), no interior light pin switches, some had painted vent window frames, no window rubber chrome, earlier Canadian standards (actually it's a 'Custom' model) still used cable brakes. Probably alot more that I can't remember at this time.

Thnaks all for the input ,trying too see how many are still around and some details about what made them standards.

Pretty much what lanny said. Mine has no chrome at all, wing nut seats, black knobs, radio blockoff with push button start, one visor, 3 spoke black wheel, black vent windows, no chrome window sealsor door seals and was dark jungle green! i do have a dome light thou?
