Title: Factory Color For Transmission Case

Greetings everyone,
Anybody know what the VW factory used for the transmission case (color)
I need the original color, since I'm restoring my 65 Beetle, back to stock
Photos would be great.
Also, does anyone have the e-mail for the shop in Port Kells that does Powder Coating
Andrew Site Furnishings???

There is no factory colour for a trans case because VW never painted them.  Bare mag is the \"colour\".

If you have the case hot tanked so it is clean, spray some cosmoline on the bare case and this will give it the orig yellow/gold tint.....and protect it.

Terry, is doing my transmission.  I'm going to pick up all the pieces (finally, tomorrow)
I will try to come by the shop with Mark Wisheart tomorrow.
