I dont know if it's worth bringing, what with the cost of shipping and then maybe coverting it to left hand drive???? I'm still trying to convince Mrs Maniac that it's a possibility.

Why would you want to convert to left hand drive?? Thats just too cool when you pull up to a drive thru window and freak out the pimpled face kid when he doesn't see anyone driving! ;)
I'm sure you will have guys lining up to buy it if you brought it to this side of the pond.

Eurpoean bugs are pretty rare in these parts... especially RHD.

There are many right hand drive cars roaming around town, lots of Nissen Skylines and Toyota 4WDs (6pass)

Pretty sure you would do well at the GCVWS 2006. Look into the shipping, I'm sure we can pass around the hat and collect some pence.. Check this ASF link....

We have Maguires here too. It's pretty good stuff. Better than Turtle Wax.

It's cool to see a right hand drive . I know someone who is converting their beetle to right hand drive. Don't see to many of any kind  that are right  hand drive.
