We, as you are all probably sick and tired of hearing know that we are trying to relocate to The Great White North, we have had several nearlys and alot of maybes and would take any job to get out there.
We looked into Calgary and got maps etc, on looking found a mountain called Mount Fryatt in the Rocky's, not that amazing really until I tell you that my surname is Fryatt, having done more reasearch found out that it is either my Great Uncle or my Great Grandfather ( reasearch to confirm which one ).
He was a Merchant Seaman of the Steamship Brussels taking cargo from Britain to Europe in the First World War, whilst dodging German U-Boats and quite successful too having recieved recognition for it in the past.
On one occasion his luck ran out and was captured and shot, which at the time caused a major uproar as it went against the rules of war.
His bravery had not gone unoticed as a letter was sent from the King of England, The House of Commons to his wife as well as articles in papaers such as The New York Times etc, also memorials were errected in places such as Liverpool Street Station in London as this was the Headquarters of his company that he worked for and also Harwich in Essex near London.
We Know that the Alberta Boundry Commission named the mountain but why Canada, ( still investigating that one )
We thought that it was pretty spokey to find this one out and if any of you are interested I will keep you posted.

Wow that's some cool history, I like to hear that kind of stuff.
There are two lakes in Winnipeg named after two of my uncles. Turns out all ya gotta do is get killed serving your country and they name a lake after you
All joking aside it's a great honor and would like to visit them some day.
