I need some info here guys, Looney has no tacho meter, and I would like to fit one but I am not sure how the limit line is set, based on what it's safe to rev the engine too I guess, but how's that done.
Also I here talk of torque but again I ain't got a clue what it actually means?
Any info much appreciated.

Not 100% sure what you are getting at in your first question, but I will take a shot. Your safe redline depends on your engine internals, and for a large part what type of cam and crank you are running. If you are running a stock non counterweighted crank then I would not take it past 5000 rpm. A tach is always a good idea.
As for torque, it is the twisting force applied to something. Torque will get you off the line fast, but hp is what keeps you at speed.
