Title: Procar Seats
Post by: Matt on October 19, 2005, 06:41:25 PM
Anyone have any experience with these low-back seats? Anybody sat in one? How high is it in comparison to a stock lowback??

Here's the site

Thinking of using these in the notch instead of the factory lowbacks.

I know they would look good in a 62 bug

It says they are 19\" tall in the backrest. I think they would look pretty good in your car. Check and see if they come with seattracks.

They come with sliders, but adapters are extra.

Matt, I have some adapters here with the ones I bought in Seattle. With your mad welding skills you should be able to duplicate a pair.

Sweet! I'll keep that in mind. Don't toss them until you tell me first.

My Dad has the highbacks, same style upholstery in black...might even be the same seat without the provision for the headrest.  If I were you I'd go ahead and make your own brackets, as the Scat brackets are still too high in the lowest (of three) setting.

My buddy and I both have the race'y lookin' 'rave' model seats, in velour and vinyl in our `77 Std's, the seats are a little low even in the highest of the available settings.
