Title: Is This Correct For The Year?
Post by: bwaz on October 18, 2005, 10:42:17 AM
I'm looking at a 68 convert and wonder if the amount of louvers on the back is correct? Looks like too many to me!

Nope that's the wrong one, In fact I belive it's a Brazilian lid. Look at the space between the center louvers, Brazilian lids have that type of louvers.

I belive we have a correct lid here at the shop if you buy it and want to make it correct.
Geoff.

Geoff's right, that's a Brazilian lid.  The correct lid for a 68 convert will have two \"sets\" of longer louvers instead of 4 sets like later cars had.  Your lid is exactly the same as a 70-71 Sedan lid.
