I have just sold my bus as the rust aint getting any better and it is much easier to sell a camper now before the winter sets in, I Still have no definate date for Canada yet :angry: and so am going to buy a Beetle as I really have the urge to own one, and still be in with the scene.
I guess the same goes for any pre 72 vehicle in terms of rust etc but is there any thing specific that I should know, I dont really know the models but gather from previous posts that the special is not a particular favourite, I have a budget of around $6000.
I guess I am buying a beetle that wont require any or much work doing to it as at any stage I may get the call to go to Canada?? so will be looking to sell it on.
Any info much appreciated. :rockon:

I got a 1964 with 1600 dp.  I would like a 67, 69,70, 71 with 1600 dp and for the right offer i may do it.

Guys, what BUS MANIC is saying is that he's got $6000.00 UK dollars to spend in the UK.

You don't need to have a vw to be in the scene right EN :D

Damn, I cruise the Samba every night looking at SC's. I bug the hell out of a certain ASF member to buy an SC, so I can go over to his house and sit in it and pretend......

In fact I miss Ole Butterball (not on the rainy cold days) :wub:  :wub:

If I had 6000.00 UK dollars kicking around I'd be searching for a aircooled VW...

Just a thought bus maniac...try to scrape together a few more $$ and buy Geoffs notch....then you'll have a keeper!
As for EN....I know he'll have another sweet VW someday....maybe sooner then he thinks!
