Between 1990 and 1995 I drove a 70 Karmann Ghia with a stock 1600 dual port that was equipped with a 009. It always passed AirCare, and always ran well. I could feel the power \"come on\" at about 2500 RPM (I had a tach), but I never experienced the \"flat spot\" that so many people complain about. My own experience with living with one four 4 years in a daily driver is I had no problems with it.
