Title: 71 Vert For Sale 1 Owner Collector Plates

I am selling a 71 vert for my friend's mother. It was brought over from germany by her and she has opted to go with a smart car as she is getting older and she would like to drive something that is safer. It was repainted about 3 or 4 years ago in the original color called blood orange (rare color) that was orig a porsche color I am told. It has the original interior and a new top (vinyl). As well as a canvas boot still in the box. The motor went on her last year so it has been sitting at my house for a few months. I am going to put a motor in it this weekend that is a wicked motor. It does have a few flaws in the paint.The paint does look excellent though. This is a very original car that has been lady driven since 1971. It had collectors plates on it last year. This car is the reason I am into vw's. I was driven to kindergarten in this car

$8000 is alot of cash for it.
She will be having the car for sometime at that price.
Whats the lowest price for this car?

8k for a clean local vert isn't steep - how many do you see around for sale?

8000 for a one owner flat window In a factory oddball color?  I think it is a fair price.
