Yah I get to sleep in everyday till whenever I wake-up, usually 6:30-7:00. I dread the 23' commute especially when it rains. My wife and I work together. I've got all the tools to play with, just no time to play. I only wish I had a bigger place so that my beetle stuff could be in a shop with my tools. 1 day I'll have a 4000 sqft shop with 1000sqft just for cars and metal to play in where I'll do custom cnc stuff for fun on my metal machines.

Aloha,
I just graduated from Univ. of Hawaii with a degree in Religion (focus on Japan). What's it good for? Looks pretty in a frame.
So...I work as a skills trainer for autistic kids. They range from highly functional to ones with severe mental retardation and other disabilities. I have to do everything from teaching the younger ones how to chew and swallow their food correctly, to teaching the older ones that its not okay to run around naked whenever you feel like it...at the movie theaters.
Its a super high-stress job, so I'm only going to be doing this for about another 4 months. My options? I'm currently going through the interview process to become a part of Honolulu Police Department. Yep. Hawaii Five-O. If that doesn't work out, I'll probably see if the Army or Marines will offer me a commission as an officer.
aloha,
Joel

When I'm not falling down stairs and creating a compound fracture in my leg (the second day of school).
(Which has enabled me to be off work for five months, play with Photoshop/Dreamweave/THS2 and cruise multiple volkswagen sites...)
I work with a team of educators to re-direct kids that choose inappropriate behaviours at school and within the community.
(teach kids to care, be respectful of others and realize there are rewards and consequences out there for their actions)
--A three year plan, not always successful
Oh yeah, did I mention I work down the street from a person who lives/ sells parts for the greatest cars ever made...
Play with Starbucks Coffee in the evenings and weekends (a great balance from the day job)
Good luck to those people persuing the teacher field (sincerely)
Any questions feel free to ask..
