After 33 hours of labour, I'm the father of a healthy 9 1/2 pound bruiser..What a trip!

Hey I can recommend two 'Baby Sleep' books for you:


1. Baby Wise --Gary Ezzo / Robert Bucknam M.D. (Chapters--17.95)
my doctor friend swears by this one, but you need to start it when they are a baby.
2. Healthy Sleep Habits,Happy Child--Marc Weissbluth, M.D. (Chapters--22.95)
My brother-in-law swears by this one, and this is the one we are using....its great, even though kids are different this book, hits it to a tee. It uses the method of letting the baby soothe(cry) itself to sleep...

Cameron was 9lbs 7oz--(May05/05)--he's nearly four  months old, Now 17lbs..... fitting into 6-9month old clothing :o You beat us by one ounce!!! :wub:


So are you selling all your VW stuff and purchasing a safe economical stationwagen?? :ph34r:

\"Goodnight Moon\" is the best baby bedtime book ( puts me to sleep everytime ) and sometimes works my daughter :)

Thanks all..Henry Hussey is his name..a nod to my grandfather. Thanks for all of the kind words. I'm already feeling the jumbled sleep patterns.. I'll try and post a photo..he has a huge head..very smart.. :P

oh one thing , you will soon find out why people had kids when they were in there 20's and not there 40's. :D

So far so good..although he has more gas than me. :wacko: .Had him out in the stroller yesterday, big smiles on both our faces. Way better than I ever expected. Thanks for all the kind words.
