Scared of the flat cam demons eh Paul. Where's your sense of adventure! :D
Probably a wise move since you haven't put the bottom end together yet.

yeah. you hear all this flat cam crap going on, so why not. i guess they are a small price to pay , compared to a new engine.   although i was a little shocked they went up so much !!!! and ironically the day before i ordered

still cheap compared to some of the damage I've had to repair due to flat cams. And when it happens 3 times, its even cheaper. Re-built berg rockers with new shafts, several set of bearing. crank polishing (not that crank, get your mind out of the gutter),  down time, and my labor.

And then compare that to their benefits- will work on any cam you will EVER put in the engine (last set you buy), lighter weight, shorter push rods, no wear to the case bores. And like when I 1st fired off my 2332, it idled for at least a 1/.2 hour with no worry of cam break in, didn't do the cam break in voodoo-hoodoo dance, no chickens or 1st borne sacrificed, etc.

I did just get another set, but at the old price  :P
