Dear Friends,
I have been fortunate to sit on the board of the PoCoMo Youth Society
for the past year. Through the leadership of one of our members,
Jerome Bouvier, we have implemented the first mobile youth resource center
'Project Reach-out'. a 26 ft mobile youth center bus that reaches upon average
35 - 40 youth a night here in the Tri-cities.
Jerome has been friends with Patch Adams for a number of years,
thus this benifit is to help fund our project.
Patch Adams is coming to town! You remember, the courageous, totally
outrageous, absolutely humanitarian doctor played by Robin Williams.
Patch is doing a a workshop and evening presentation in Vancouver on
September 7th and a repeat performance in Surrey on September 8th.
If laughter can heal, this workshop is it. His workshop is also a satire on
everything that is happening in the world, and what we can do about it.
