one of my favourites is Rotella T:
Rotella T (15w40) still has a tonne of zinc in it.
0.151% zinc
0.141% phosphorus
I got those specs directly from shells tech guy.
GM EOS has a crazy amount of zinc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I put a 1/2 bottle of that stuff even with my 10w50 ELF synthetic PAO based oil.
GM EOS:
zinc 6290
phos 6144

thanks alan ,
have you looked at the cheveron delo400 has a lot more moly which i believe to be great for flat tappet motors as well, plus i see it even has more zinc than shell.
need to find the bottles with ch-4 plus rating with a yellow flag on the front saying new low wear formula.
since i need new oil today i think i will go look for some.

hey,
why do you want oil specificaly with a high zinc content??
does it help all AC VW motors?? or just high performance?
