Title: The Joys Of Travelling To A Show
Post by: reefreshd_jive on July 19, 2005, 04:36:06 PM
here is what happend to brian when we were heading back home for the show in seattle.
we were able to get the tire fixed and on the road 3 hours later. seems minimum wage workers at  the local american walmart arent too motivated to work...

luckily the tire blew right before an exit, so we were able to drive a couple hundred meters off the I5, and do the repairs in a parking lot. so we didnt have to sit on the side of the highway and work on it.

and yes geoff, the expansion joints were alot nicer to me and my car on the way home. it helps to know about them, and where there are aswell! just made for a good scare when i did not know about them, and it felt like all 4 tires were flat!

Jeez, Brian, all the money you've spent on that Ghia; you'd think you could afford a motor so you could actually drive it down.

Thanks James for sticking around and being my chauffer. I appreciated your help. As far as driving my car down, at least it was there. ;)

Mark M from Franklins blew his car up at the track and had  flat rear tire with no way to get home...
I recall Hans saving a DVKK member a few years ago at Mission same story...
Not that I am an expert.. I just have common sense

Fair enough.
I expect with anything I drive and since I drive them hard if something breaks or blows up its part of the price of driving balls to the walls or hearing my second barrel of my carb opening up as I hit 98mph...
