Guys just wanted to inform you that the 2 year old rule is no longer in effect in NHRA rules. Before if you had 2 yr old belts they are no longer allowed to be used on a car at an NHRA track.
Well now there are no limits to the age of the race belt as long as you are under 11.49sec. Sorry point blank you gotta get belts every 2 yrs but for the most of us we are not in this category. So buy a race belt and use them for years of use.

Thats a good idea.
The 2 year rule seems a bit ridiculous even for the faster guys here in Canada,... since our racing season is so short anyways.

I am kelw with that, You can not put a price on your life... So every 2 years it is I am ok... what did he say about the helmets??? I like to upgrade my sand rails belts about the same aswell..

I've got at least 4 sets of belts I could sell! 1-RCI-2 Jaeger & 1 Simpson I think. wayne

i was at mopac on kingsway yesterday and was told that there is a place in burnaby that is able to test and recertifie safety belts for less than half the cost of a new one.
can't remember the name ,but i need to stop in for a nos top up and will find out
