Title: Car Wont Start

I go to turn the key and theres nothing...the lights in the speedo come on but it wont turn over or click or anything. The battery isnt dead. I tried jumping it a few times and nothing, the motor turned over but wouldnt fire...except for once, its started up for a few seconds than died...im assuming since it DID start than died that im not getting gas, but why wont it turn over? battery? connections? any ideas?

could it be that my solinoid is stuck?

Thats what i was doing when it started the one time....thats why im confused. If it was something to do witht e battery or starter it shouldnt matter if im push starting it...guess i got more than one problem...

Condensor, points? do you have spark at all?

yes there is spark in the cap if you turn the key on...
