I got jacked BIG time today. Had lunch at Tim Hortons today(thursday june 16) at the lougheed store close to Bretwood mall. MY car was broken into between 12:15 and 12:45.
Stolen an silver case containing 4 high end Sata paint guns =$3500
A new Dell laptop in a leather Dell case=$2000
And last but certianly not least a special camera I use to match car colors...it's called an Automatic=$12000 U.S funds
The camera can only be used with the laptop and only to match colors in Sikkens paint....it can't be used for anything else...so it's basically a throw away item for anybody else.
If anyone (I know some of you are in the Automotive repair industry) have any leads or hear of anyone trying to sell this equiptment please contact me at 778-881-2295 or your local police dept
Thanks

Man that really sucks. ]:( Useless punks contribute nothing to society and deserve nothing in return. Except maybe to have their necks stretched.
Hopefully there was no personal information on the laptop which the thieves could exploit. It might be a good idea to checkout pawnshops in the area, and ask any paintshop/garages to keep an eye open.

:(
the reasons why i'm gonna spend a damn hell lotta money on one of them nifty security systems with pagin and such :o... annoying stuff man!! Are you covered for the guns, cam laptop etc?
-
Our company is self insured....so, either way we pay.
We have notified all of the body shops we deal with and the serial #'s for the items that where stolen have been given to the police and are now red flagged at the pawn shops (right!) ;) We don't expect to recover any of the stolen items...and the real sad part is the camera...which is worth so much and is so valuable to me as a tool which helps me do my job... will probably end up in a garbage can ..being that only 4 people in B.C. actually know how to use it!

Check with Tim Hortons or surrounding businesses to see if they have external security cameras that might have captured the crime as it happened. The police may have allready done that, but maybe not.
