just curious if there is a way to measure whether my rear tires are going straight or not, or if i will have to take it dale's in langley and get them toss it on the machine for me. i am not 100% sure if it is out or not, but after putting the adjustable spring plates in they might be.

maybe much like the \"do it yourself\" front toe check.
grab a tape measure. run it from the center tread on the driver side tire at the forward and lowest part of the tire to the center tread on the passengers side tire at the forward and lowest part of the tire and record measurement.
do the same on the rearward side of the tire making sure you measure from the same tread and the same height. subtract measurements from eachother and that should give you a rough idea of toe in/out.
hopefully thats not too hard to understand. it's kinda hard to explain.

say you're looking at the rear tires from the front of the car. the ! is the center tread and the . in the ! is the lower part of the center tread. measure between these two points.
then look at the tires from the rear of the car and take the same measurements.

Ever try the 2x4 method? Buy 2-8' 2x4's, cut off about 2 1/2' (the diameter of your tires) and toenail it to the longer piece on one end, edge to edge

Something like that :blush: This will allow clearance for the fenders. Push the boards up against the tires snug and set them on blocks. This will give you a fairly close idea on how straight they run with the car. I've done this for the front end and been right on B)

I can't imagine any 2x4 being straight enough.
I made my own telescopic track guage from the chrome strips I removed from my doors. Placed face-to-face with a sleeve around them they can telescope just right to measure the inside width from rim to rim. Measure in front and behind the axle.
